[what's in dust?]

What's in dust? When you're cleaning a barn it's hard to tell what's in that dust that you're breathing in. Last week I was cleaning out the goats stall and realized that when I was dumping the manure, bedding and uneaten and trampled hay that there was green dust floating away from my dumped pile of barn dirt. It kind of looked like a toxic cloud of dust. This definitely got me thinking about all that stuff that I've been breathing in. A couple years ago I got pneumonia from the dust of a black walnut hiking stick that I was making, and ever since then i've been a little more prone to getting a little wheeze if I don't take care of my lungs. Just a month ago I was getting over bronchitis. Needless to say, when I found the great deal on the respirator mask and some extra filters I decided that it was time to start making sure that if I'm going to be exposing myself to dust which may be likely to harass my lungs, I'll be wearing my mask.
