[what's in dust?]

What's in dust? When you're cleaning a barn it's hard to tell what's in that dust that you're breathing in. Last week I was cleaning out the goats stall and realized that when I was dumping the manure, bedding and uneaten and trampled hay that there was green dust floating away from my dumped pile of barn dirt. It kind of looked like a toxic cloud of dust. This definitely got me thinking about all that stuff that I've been breathing in. A couple years ago I got pneumonia from the dust of a black walnut hiking stick that I was making, and ever since then i've been a little more prone to getting a little wheeze if I don't take care of my lungs. Just a month ago I was getting over bronchitis. Needless to say, when I found the great deal on the respirator mask and some extra filters I decided that it was time to start making sure that if I'm going to be exposing myself to dust which may be likely to harass my lungs, I'll be wearing my mask.

[what's this about?]

I don't really know what this blog is about. I have so many different interests that there isn't anything that I seem to talk about particularly. I like technology, and I find technology interesting. So I guess I talk about technology during the winter when I don't have the garden to tend to. In the summer I have a garden and there is all sorts of interesting stuff that can happen in the garden. I don't know how often I actually talk about the garden though. Then there is the place in which I live. It's a camp, and I've spent nearly the last 10 years of my life at the camp working or living in some capacity. It's a great place. I like camping and the outdoors, but it seems like I barely get to do any of that. Hopefully this summer I'll be able to do more camping. We've got the pop-up from my in-laws and we've only used it a couple times in the last couple years. It would be nice if we could use it a little more extensively.

So what is this blog about? I guess it's about all of the above..

[its awesome and totally unnecessary]

I need to thank my lovely wife for allowing me the completely un-necessary ability to use a keyboard with my phone. I found out this morning by accident that I have full control with my iPhone that I would have with a computer. The volume keys work with my phone as well as the screen dimmer. I don't know what else the capabilities are yet. I will be certain to brag about them as I discover new things that I can do that are totally unnecessary but super awesome.

Bluetooth Keyboard

It's HERE! My Bluetooth keyboard has arrived and I was allowed to open it. It's pretty cool to be able to type on a keyboard and see the letters appear on my phone. I just need to find a way to be able to take my keyboard with me everywhere. But seriously, it seems like the only time I get on the internet anymore is from my phone. I guess I've gotten used to not having the internet at home anymore, even though we've gotten the wi-fi I feel like I barely use it. I like technology,

Typing

I am getting my Bluetooth keyboard soon. Hopefully this will let me be able to update the blog from my phone easier by allowing me to be able to use the full keyboard instead of the tiny one on my phone that requires me to type with my thumbs. I'd much rather type using all Ten of my digits instead of just two.
